The Spirit of Clarksburg
The Clarksburg High School Marching Band, “The Spirit of Clarksburg,” performs at football games, parades, competitions, and special events throughout the fall. Past highlights have included winning the 2022 Maryland State Group 3A Competition, performing in the Shanghai Tourism Parade in China, as well as the 100th anniversary of the National Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington, D.C.
2023-2024 Marching Band Season
The 2023-2024 Marching Band season is here! Please help us offset the cost of band activities by paying a fee. Click on this link to pay.
Fee Structure:
Marching band/Color Guard Fee for first child: $425.00
Marching band/Color Guard Fee for additional child: $375.00
Majorettes Fee: $50.00
We have restructured the fee system for Marching Band. Instead of billing items separately as we have in the past, there is now just one flat fee for members. There is a flat marching band fee of $425 for each Wind/Guard/Percussion, and one flat fee of $50 for Majorettes. This fee covers snacks, pre-game meals, transportation, uniform cleaning, the band t-shirt, gloves, shoes, costumes, and other materials for the students. Additionally:
• Percussionists will need to purchase sticks/mallets which can range from $12-$30. Information will be given once it has been determined who will be playing which drum.
• Optional Instrumental Music Department Spirit wear (Jackets, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, etc.) will be available for student and parent purchase this fall.
• End of Season Banquet tickets will be sold as the season winds down. We look forward to celebrating a great season with all of our families.
• We appreciate any donations toward a financial assistance fund. We had many more requests for assistance last year than we were prepared to fulfill.

Full Band Rehearsal:
Tuesdays & Fridays of Home Game: 2:45PM - 4:15 PM
Wednesdays & Thursdays: 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Saturday on morning of competition, times TBD
