Marching Band Registration Form
Summer Marching Band Camp
The dates and times for summer marching band events are as follows. These events will be held at Clarksburg High School. Any student wishing to participate who has a schedule conflict should email Mr. Orifici immediately.

|August 21 and 22||Summer Band Camp||9am – 9pm|
|August 23, 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31||Evening Band Rehearsals||6pm – 9pm|
|November 9||End-of-Season Banquet||6pm – 9pm|
All marching band participants are expected to attend the summer band camp. This is a very important time, as students will learn not only fundamental marching and musical technique, but also components of the parade and field shows. Students should bring the following materials to band camp every day:
- Instrument and pencil
- Music, flip folder, and drill book (new students will receive these the first day of camp)
- A bag lunch
- A water bottle
- Sneakers (no flip-flops or sandals!)
Weekly Rehearsals and Football Games
Once school begins, full band rehearsals will occur Monday-Friday from 2:45pm to 4:15pm. If a home football games falls on Thursday, there will be NO REHEARSAL that Friday. On football game nights, band dinner will be provided at school immediately following rehearsal. Students should plan to stay at school until the conclusion of the football game.

It is expected that each student will have a parent volunteer for at least one pre-game meal and one event this season. As in past years, we are asking parents to supplement the main meal with healthy side dishes, drinks, and desserts. We know most parents work and getting these items to school for an early dinner can be a challenge, so we will give you the option to make a minimum $15 donation in lieu of a side dish, which will be used to supplement meals. This is a great group of kids, and I encourage you to get involved. The success of a program is directly related to the quality of parent support!
A Sign Up Genius will be posted soon to allow volunteers to sign up to help at meals and events.
This year, Google Classroom will be used to distribute Marching Band materials.
